Senior Vice President
Mr. DeMaioribus has been with Dynetics,Inc., in Huntsville, AL, since 1977, where he has performed research, development, test and evaluation of weapon systems including radars, missiles, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems and associated sensors. Mr. DeMaioribus has been in supervisory and management positions since 1983. As Dynetics' Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology, he leads a division of engineers, scientists and technicians in four US locations. Mr. DeMaioribus holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. He was inducted as a member of Xi Chapter in 1974.
During his career at Dynetics, Mr. DeMaioribus has performed systems analysis on radars, missiles, C4I, and related sensor technologies at both the tactical and strategic level. He has also performed detailed subsystem analysis of transmitters, antennas, receivers, signal processors, data processors, control systems, Radio Frequency (RF) seekers, passive sensors, autopilots, guidance computers, control actuator systems, data links, and C4I algorithms. He has developed designs, implemented hardware/software systems, and performed laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop, field and live-fire testing. He has also developed detailed computer models and integrated weapon system simulations to support both analysis and test activities. Mr. DeMaioribus has extensive experience in evaluating complex foreign air defense systems and assessing their vulnerability to US tactics and countermeasures.
Mr. DeMaioribus has been recognized as the IEEE Huntsville (AL) Chapter Outstanding Engineer (1988), the Auburn University Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Outstanding Alumnus (2003) and as a Distinguished Auburn Engineer (2008). He remains involved with Auburn University by serving as Chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and serving on the overall Auburn Alumni Engineering Council, where he is Chairman of the Research Committee and serves as the ECE Department liaison to the Academic/Assessment Committee. He also serves as the Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Madison County. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi honor societies.
