The HKN Induction Ritual Script has been reviewed frequently over the past several years and is now significantly different from the ritual script that was used in the past.

Script changes include the following:
- Gender neutrality was introduced
- Morse-code door knocks were eliminated
- Factual corrections were made
- Babbage was made one of the Ritual avatars in recognition of Computer Engineering's being included in HKN
- Requirements for membership in HKN were clarified and strengthened
- Importance of ethics, honesty, and truth were further emphasized
- Size and importance of the avatars' reading parts were rebalanced to reflect their level of responsibility in their chapter
The current Ritual preserves the focus on "self-improvement and social obligation" as well as the grace and charm of the old Ritual, and it fully addresses the concerns of ethics, honesty, and truth.
